Tonight I'll be eating in space

Tonight, I’ll be eating in space

Uber Eats finally delivers to all 47 prefectures in Japan, which is a big deal for the food delivery giant, but not necessarily that exciting for the average Japanese person.

But to generate some excitement and to show that Uber Eats is delivering to more places than ever before, and what we came up with was out of this world.

IDEA
Uber Eats goes to Space

But before we launched (both digitally and intergalactically) our big announcement film, we wanted to tease that something big was happening.

It seems everyone is going to space these days. Well, every billionaire at least. But with the uptick in interstellar excursions, we knew it was only a matter of time until we hit an inflection point, and since no one else is prepared to deliver meals to these hungry travellers, we decided it was up to Uber Eats.

But not everyone is lucky enough to go to space. So we created an Instagram Filter to extend the campaign and give our Earthling audience a chance to see what it would be like to visit the ISS.
